Forex News Lockscreen shows the week's high-impact forex news. It doesn't need an account and it doesn't collect personal data.
Who we are
Forex News Lockscreen ("the app") is published by Quoc Minh Trinh under the TraderM brand ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app.
Information we collect
We do not collect, store or sell any personal information. The app has no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We cannot identify you as a user.
Information kept on your device
Your settings (time zone, prop firm rule, alert timing, wallpaper theme and palette) and a cached copy of the news calendar are saved only on your iPhone. They are never sent to us. Deleting the app removes them.
Downloading the news calendar
To show the latest news, the app downloads a public calendar file from a server hosted by Google (Google Apps Script). The file contains only news times, currencies and event names. Like any web request, Google's servers process technical information such as your IP address to deliver the file, under Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store this information.
Purchases
Premium subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment details or Apple ID. The app only checks with Apple whether Premium is active on your device. To manage or cancel a subscription, go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
Notifications
Pre-news alerts are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. No notification data passes through our servers, and you can turn alerts off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
Photos
If you save a wallpaper, the app asks for permission to add images to your Photos library. This permission is add-only: the app cannot view, read or upload any of your existing photos.
Children
The app is intended for adults interested in financial markets and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Not financial advice
News times and prop firm rules in the app are provided for convenience and may change. Always confirm with official sources and your prop firm before trading.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
